We collaborated with Friends of the Earth to highlight an injustice in the fossil fuel industry, where international treaties are being manipulated so that foreign fossil fuel companies can sue the British government for blocking new fossil fuel projects on British soil. These secret court cases, ISDS’s, can run up into the hundreds of millions of pounds and cost the British taxpayer.
